This is the website of Frank Wiebenga, pianist and piano teacher in Amsterdam.I teach piano and harpsichord (classical, jazz, pop, improvisation).You learn in my lessons to play from sheet music as well as by ear.
I also give courses for groups of 5-8 people in playing by ear, improvisation, play from chord symbols or musical notation.
I'm one of the 10 members of the 'Amsterdam Pianoteachers Collective' APK and a member of the European Piano Teachers Association EPTA .
You can hire me as a pianist to play at parties, receptions, funerals, short concerts and other occasions. I play in classical, jazz-, latin- or popstyles.
I made compositions and arrangements for different ensembles and for singers with piano.(jazz-sextet Hale Bopp, fluteoctet Blow-Up, tango 'Orquesta de Mayo')
